
Today we're going to learn how to do something like this:

To begin with, you'll need to select 2 or more photos. They can be of any file type that MIC supports. Start MIC, File/New and then Insert/From file... your images. I'm starting with these two:

Our first step, is to turn each of these images to black and white. This is easily done by clicking Warps and Filters in the toolbar then in the drop down box to the left, select Color Enhancement/Luminance. Click on one of your images, then click Apply. Repeat for the other image(s).
Now it's time to colorize them. Select a background color you wish to work with from the Current Color Swatch. I chose a dark blue for this example. Once again in Warps and Filters, click Colorize. Set the Color Opacity slider to 50%. Click on one of your images then click Apply. Repeat this for the other image(s).
Your images should now look like the ones below.
